Michaela Kennedy Cuomo, the daughter of former Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, came out as a gingerbread goddess in a bizarre video posted to Instagram on February 10th.
Kennedy Cuomo made the big reveal while sitting cross-legged on a beachside blanket and unwrapping an oversized gingerbread man.
“With my body as my child and my soul as my mother, I give birth to a new me,” she said, holding the gingerbread close to her body in a loving embrace.
The video continued.
“The newest me, the realest me, the most authentic me,” she said. “So this new, happy, healthy, authentic, true, loving, proud, shameless, fluid version of me. Oh, I love you. I love you.”
With that, she hugged Gingerbread and declared her love for her new identity.
This was followed by an explanation of this new version of Kennedy-Cuomo.
“She’s flowing,” she said.
She then affirmed her self-love by chanting three times, “As a goddess, I live a life of uplifting love and bliss.”
“I love my life, and I love myself.”
“I love alchemizing love in the people, places, and situations I encounter.”
She looked straight into the camera and said: “Thank you for sharing your love. Happy first birthday to the new me!”
Kennedy Cuomo captioned the post with a motivational message.
“📝You can always rewrite your life’s story. Here I am now celebrating choosing a new story and a new role,” she said. (Related: Florida rescinds policy allowing ID changes to match gender identity)
She allowed her fans to join her in her new state.
“🦸♀️This transformative decision will give you the power to trust in the next chapter of your life, instead of feeling privileged or victimized by circumstances. Because you Because now I’m an author.”
