Authorities in Michigan are taking strict action after police reported a man suspected of finding a hidden camera in a girl’s bedroom and storing 294 graphic images on his cell phone. issued a warning.
Genesee County Sheriff Christopher Swanson announced the surprising discovery during a press conference following the arrest of 30-year-old Nicholas Lee.
Swanson said the case against Lee began last fall.
“It started now,” Swanson said, picking up a small cell phone charger. “This simple cell phone was plugged into an underage girl’s bedroom.”
“But it’s actually a camera,” he said.

“If you see this connected, you won’t know it’s a camera,” he said. “This is a place where innocence is being taken away. This is a place where privacy is being sacrificed.”
“In this young victim’s life, they were exposed to a simple camera that was inserted for the sole purpose of securing footage of the young victim in her bedroom doing things that we all do in our bedrooms. Can we trust what’s in our bedrooms again? We feel safe,” Swanson said.

Lee’s secret camera invention was discovered by the child’s parents, who immediately took him to the police.
“We were able to locate and arrest Mr. Lee,” police said.

A 30-year-old man’s iPhone contained hundreds of graphic images of young girls in the privacy of his home.

News of a hidden camera installed in a Michigan girl’s bedroom comes after a Florida boy was spotted being tracked with an Apple Airtag.
Jackie Giulleo noticed that her son was being tracked through the device. FOX35 reported.
Giulleo told the media that he didn’t own any AirTags when he started receiving alerts on his iPhone that one of the devices was nearby during the Christmas parade at Satellite Beach. She told the report that a map of all the locations her son had been popped up on her phone as an undetected AirTag alert.

She said she went through all of her son’s clothes and toys and was “heartbroken” when she found the device through a quarter-sized hole in his shoe.
She said it had been following him for almost a month.
