Michigan Denies RFK Jr’s Request To Be Removed From The Ballot

Michigan has rejected a request by former independent 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to have his name removed from the state's ballot, even though his campaign has been suspended.

Sheri Hardmon, a senior spokeswoman for Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, said Tuesday that Kennedy, who appears on the state's ballot as the Natural Law Party's presidential candidate, cannot withdraw from the race.

Hardmon said Kennedy's status as a minority party candidate and the fact that his party cannot select new electors are reasons he should remain on the ballot.
