“But there's no one better suited to coach this team than Sherone Moore. He has my vote, he has my whole heart. I feel like we're in big hands.” Harbaugh told The Detroit News.

Moore spent the past six seasons at Michigan, where the 2023 season will be his first as offensive coordinator after serving as co-offensive coordinator for two years.

Moore gained valuable head coaching experience in 2023, posting a 3-0 record as acting head coach while Harbaugh was suspended.

The new head coach became emotional after Michigan's win at Penn State, shortly after Harbaugh's second suspension began as punishment for the team's sign-stealing scandal.
