Michigan is reportedly promoting a program that would give citizens $500 a month to accept immigrants.

Targets include refugees, asylees, special immigrant visa holders, victims of human trafficking, Cuban and Haitian immigrants, Afghans and Ukrainian humanitarian parolees, the country said.
