Mick Jagger's longtime partner Melanie Hamrick revealed that she has been secretly involved with the Rolling Stones frontman over the years.
In a recent interview with the French magazine Paris match, the 37-year-old former ballerina shared news of her engagement with the 81-year-old locker.
“We've been involved for a few years,” Hamrick said in an English translation of the article published Wednesday.

However, Hamrick told the outlet it was unclear whether she and Jaguar would tie the knot.

“Maybe we may not get married. We are so happy in our current lives that I will be too afraid to change something,” the author of “First Position.”
In 2016 and 2014, Hamrick and Jaguar welcomed their son, developer “Devi” Octavian Basil Jaguar, an eighth child from the eighth partner of the singer “Paint, Black”.
Looking back at the secrets of their successful relationship, Hamrick said that she and Jaguar “support each other, make sure they're there for each other and everyone is happy.”
“That's what matters to me and it's all I'm striving for,” she added.

In June 2023, the pair first sparked engagement rumours when Hamrick showed off a diamond ring on her wedding finger.
During an interview with People Magazine At the time, Hamrick confirmed that the ring was a gift from the Jaguar, but was embarrassed about its potential meaning.
“I mean, do you have to laugh because Mick gave me the ring? Yes. Is it for those fingers? Yes,” she told the outlet. “But we, like the horny teenagers we give each other… in my mind, it's a ring of promise. We're immature and we call it a ring of promise.”
“Maybe we won't get married one day. We are so happy in our current lives that I won't be able to change anything.”
Hamrick also shared her thoughts on whether she wants to marry or not.
“I don't know,” she says. “I'm like the kind of person I am like a momentary person, so who knows?”

Jaguar has been married before. A four-time Grammy Award winner, Bianca Jaguar tied the knot in 1971, but split in 1978.

Jaguar and Hamrick first met behind the scenes at the Rolling Stones concert in Tokyo in February 2014. At the time, Hamrick was touring Japan as a dancer at the American Ballet Theater.
