Mick Jagger and Republican Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry trade barbs

Singer Mick Jagger criticized Louisiana’s Republican governor in an unusually vague attack during the Rolling Stones’ recent performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

The Rolling Stones had just finished performing their hit song “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” during their Thursday night set. Oddly enough, Jagger has set his sights on Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, a Republican.

The Rolling Stones frontman did not elaborate on how Landry transported people to the Stone Age.

Mr. Jagger does not say how Governor Landry brought Americans into the Stone Age, so we can only speculate.

Jagger was a fierce opponent of former President Donald Trump.
