Microsoft has made several recommendations to the incoming Trump administration and the new Congress on how to handle artificial intelligence (AI) policy in 2025.

Smith shared a three-part vision for American technology success.
“This starts with advances and investments in America’s world-leading AI technology and infrastructure,” he wrote. “Second, countries need to promote skills programs that enable the spread of AI and enhance career opportunities across the economy.”
