Two suspected immigrants, one carrying a loaded machine gun, are again roaming the streets of New York City after attacking two police officers who were resisting arrest last week.
Abraham Sosa, 20, who lives above a day care center in the Bronx, was accused of trespassing and urinating in an unauthorized tunnel area of a Bronx subway station around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 5. was discovered and the police approached and asked multiple questions. He refused to provide identification, the NYPD told Fox News Digital.
Officers then attempted to arrest Sosa on the northbound platform of the Kingsbridge subway station, but Sosa resisted by “stiffening his arms and refusing to be handcuffed,” police said.
A brief struggle then ensued, with 20-year-old Christopher Maylen jumping in to prevent the arrest.

During the altercation, a loaded and defaced Palmetto State Armory PA-15 firearm fell from Sosa's backpack, police said.
Maylen kicked one of the officers' body cameras onto the subway tracks.
The two were taken into custody, and Maylen was later found in possession of one of the officers' cell phones.
Both officers were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Both men were thrown to the ground during the struggle, according to the criminal complaint.
Mr. Sosa was charged with numerous charges, including criminal possession of a machine gun, criminal possession of a loaded or defaced weapon, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.

He was also charged with trespassing, assault on a police officer, assault and 25 counts of possession of a loaded weapon, police said.
Mr. Myren was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property, petty theft, aggravated harassment and harassment.
Maylen was released without bail and Sosa was sent to Rikers Island on Nov. 12 on $25,000 bail, the Bronx District Attorney's Office told Fox News Digital.
The NYPD told Fox News Digital that Sosa and Maylen have no prior arrest records.
Sosa initially claimed he hurt his ankle.
“Really?” Sosa told the officers, according to the criminal complaint. “Is it to use the toilet?
“But I'm disappointed that I hurt my ankle,” he said. “Let me show you your ankles.”

“This is crazy,” one Bronx detective told the Post Thursday. “Mexican cartel members are running around. Their tattoos are signs that say, 'I'm a criminal. I don't care about your laws.'”
