“To be honest, they’re not doing anything,” he told The Daily Signal.
The driver said local police seemed to treat 50cc and 150cc bikes “the same”. He called it a “strange loophole.”
Tom Lynch, a spokesman for the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, told news outlets that drivers who violate licensing and registration laws are “trying their luck.” He pointed out that there is no way to know whether the officer saw the offending driver being questioned.
