Migrants in NYPD Times Square attack offered plea deals, incl. 1 just re-arrested

“I’m very tempted to put you in jail right now. I’ll tell you right now, if I find out that you’re rearrested for anything between now and the end of this case, I’m going to file a warrant. Wood ordered the suspects to return to court on June 18, and a trial date will be set if an agreement cannot be reached. According to the newspaper, 20-year-old Edgaris Vegas has not received any offers yet.

Police said one of the migrants stomped on the deputy’s head as officers tried to subdue the suspect on the ground. The immigrant then kicked another officer in the back, then returned and kicked the lieutenant.

Another immigrant can be seen delivering a large swinging kick to the lieutenant’s head. The migrant tried to kick him and fell to the ground.
