Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) acknowledged Wednesday that he supports state Sen. Matt Dolan (R) to send more American tax dollars to Ukraine.
dewine approved Dolan announced her candidacy on Monday as the March 19 Senate Republican primary rapidly approaches. Mr. DeWine endorsed Mr. Dolan over Mr. Trump’s favored candidate, businessman Bernie Moreno.
Mr. DeWine said Mr. Dolan was the front-runner in terms of sending U.S. taxpayers money to Ukraine.
“I think all three can win in the fall. But frankly, I think he’s in a much stronger position,” DeWine said.
He added that Dolan is “more focused on national security,” including voting to support Ukraine.

“America’s last wing is saying the quiet parts loud. Mr. DeWine supports Mr. Dolan because he is more focused on funding Ukraine than solving domestic problems.” ” Moreno press secretary Reagan McCarthy said in a written statement. “The contrast could not be starker in this primary. Mr. Dolan’s priorities are other countries, not the United States.”
Breitbart News reported on Dolan, who said he didn’t want aid to Ukraine to be cut off due to Biden’s “dysfunction” or the migrant crisis at the southern border.
“We cannot allow the Biden administration’s dysfunction at the border to compromise not only our responsibilities to Ukraine, but our responsibilities to our allies and our responsibilities as Americans,” Dolan said.[s] Because President Putin’s presence in Ukraine is a national security risk. ”
Dolan also said: “I don’t want to put my boots on the ground in Ukraine.” But he warned that “if we appease it, it could happen.” [Vladimir] President Putin. ”
“If we can appease President Putin, which unfortunately some people in my party would like to do, that’s what we’re looking at.”
The state senator also argued that officials who try to negotiate with Putin to end the seemingly endless war are tantamount to Putin appeasers.
