It appears that Mike Franchia had no idea they were living this.
Francisa spoke in his ears on a live episode of his Betrivers podcast, cheating staff by providing false information about St. John's and the Big East Championship.
The well-known former radio host went back and forth with his staff for a few minutes before calling them to resume recording.
The only problem was that it was live.
The franchia had been talking to them for more than two minutes before he was warned that he had been live streaming the whole time and was even more annoyed the sportstalk host.
“Are we alive? All this was airing, am I just screaming at you guys?” he asked in surprise. “What? You have to make a joke. You guys need to tease me. Okay, I apologize for that explosion, okay, people? We didn't realize we were alive, I thought we were taping this, that's my mistake, I didn't understand it. Now… So, I cried out to you guys, so this will become a virus now, do you understand it?”
With all that in mind, the franchia maintained his level after learning that his conversation with the producer was aired live, putting him in a bad position and opening him to joke at his expense.
The clip has been posted to X and has earned over 500,000 views since it was uploaded.
The stream portion was edited for the recorded version of the uploaded show.
Fans of the franchise also seem to have been unharmed by the way the host speaks to his staff and talks with his staff that he thinks he is handling the situation well.
“To be honest, he really respected and thought he was kind about it.” One person wrote it.
