House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) celebrated the Indianapolis 500’s Borg-Warner Trophy on Tuesday rather than focusing on prominent Republicans.
“I’ve never been hyped with trophies before,” Johnson said as the trophy awarded to the winner of the Indianapolis 500 was carried in front of him.

While Johnson celebrates the trophy’s arrival, he continues to confront disgruntled conservatives such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Rep. Thomas Massey (R-Ky.). . Massey and Greene are trying to remove him as chairman.
“I am the most conservative member to ever hold the gavel as Speaker, but the reality of our numbers is [is] Our Challenge” Johnson explained to Axios. “Some of my colleagues want us to throw a Hail Mary pass on every play.”
Mr Green has criticized Mr Johnson, claiming he is the most conservative speaker. She answered:
If you…fund the invasion of our country, fund full-term abortions, fund the trans agenda, fund endless wars, sever the ties of warrantless espionage, and the New Covenant. The most conservative, except when it criminalizes the Bible, has support from the Democratic Party leadership, and spends more than Nancy. Pelosi.

Massey details Johnson’s “three betrayals,” including passing an omnibus spending bill, forcing a vote on the surveillance reauthorization bill despite prior support for reform, and pushing back on border security. This includes passing nearly $100 billion in foreign aid without any money attached to it.
“I haven’t been getting enough sleep lately,” Prime Minister Boris Johnson complained at a press conference on Tuesday.
Johnson reiterated at the press conference that he hasn’t been getting “enough sleep lately.” He has complained many times in recent months about the toll this job is taking on him.
