Mike Rogers Lays Out Harris-Walz Want to Make ‘America Last’

Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) are trying to “make” America last, Mike Rogers, a Michigan Senate candidate backed by President Trump, said at a rally in Michigan for Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) on Tuesday, blasting them for making empty promises simply because it's an election year.

“Democrats are good at announcing firsts,” Rogers said. said He showed off some of these “firsts” to the crowd gathered at his election event.

“They're very proud of their firsts, so I want to list some of the firsts we've had in the last four years that Democrats have been in power. This is the first time in American history that we import more food than we export,” he began.

“This is the first time that foreign automakers are making more cars in the United States than domestic automakers. This is the first time that our national debt interest payments are greater than the Department of Defense,” Rogers, who is also an endorsement of former President Donald Trump, added, noting that this is also the first time in US history that Americans have “over $1 trillion” in credit card debt.

“This is a surefire plan to make America last,” Rogers concluded after listing some of the Democratic Party's “firsts.”

“I can't imagine a more important election than this one, and now is the time for us to stand up and say, 'I will not let that happen during my term,'” he continued, slamming President Joe Biden and Harris for lying about a collapsing economy and election interference.

“Remember this was made clear this week when the Biden administration and Harris said, ‘Oh, we’re not interfering, we’re not censoring any conservative ideas.’ Well, that’s interesting. [Mark] “Just yesterday Zuckerberg said that conservative ideas were censored. The government went to tech companies and told them to remove any even remotely conservative content from their platforms. Is that the America you want to live in?” Rogers asked, also highlighting the fact that Democrats, especially Kamala Harris, lied to everyone about Biden's mental and physical health.

“Remember, not long ago, people were saying, 'Joe Biden is the smartest guy I've ever seen.' This guy has more drive and energy, he's so smart, he's charming and he knows the issues better than anybody,” Rogers said, noting that Democrats quickly dumped him after his poor performance in the debate with Trump.

Rogers also slammed his Democratic opponent, Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.), saying she also “has a hard time telling the truth.”

“She just voted to allow illegal immigrants to vote in US elections. She voted against building a wall. She voted for amnesty for illegal immigrants. She voted to allow Washington DC to be a sanctuary city. Is this the kind of leader we want in the US Senate?” he asked, emphasizing that this is a new, more radical Democratic Party.

clock:

“This is not your grandfather's Democratic Party. They have leaned too far to the left. They opened the borders, they increased crime rates, they drove up food prices and gas prices that we can't afford,” Trump said, calling Democrats political semis.

“What they're telling you today [is] “They're like political cicadas. They only come out at election time: 'I'm on your side. I'll do whatever you want. It's going to be great. Listen to me.' What we need to do today, and this is a perfect example of just how to start, is to say that we are not going to allow America to move left as we see it, and rob future generations of Americans of hope and opportunity,” Rogers said to applause.
“This is our opportunity to say we're on the side of the people. Here at Gotion, I'm going to say this: With your help, I'm going to go to the United States Senate and work with Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance to take back this country,” he promised.
