He left the cannoli behind.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, known from “Jersey Shore,” has undergone quite the body transformation—he’s regained the impressive six-pack he used to show off when the show first aired almost 16 years ago.

At 43, Sorrentino shared with the Post about his journey back to a chiseled physique. To achieve his washboard abs, he gave up favorite Italian dishes like chicken cutlets and pasta, hitting the gym for almost two hours five days a week, shedding 30 pounds in the process.

“I’ve probably maintained this weight since I was around 19 or 20. Maybe it’s genetics, because once I lost weight, the abs just popped,” he remarked. “I was like, ‘Wow, it’s like God gave me abs back.’”

The father of three follows a strict meal plan that includes four scrambled eggs and oatmeal for breakfast, grilled chicken and rice for lunch, and dinner consists of steak, chicken, or fish paired with sweet potatoes.

“Abs are made in the kitchen. I’ve never strayed from my diet, and now that I’m down to 180, I’m ready to introduce cheat days,” he noted.

Despite some initial doubts from himself and MTV regarding his ability to reach these lofty goals, Sorrentino kept at it. “I’m not exactly a spring chicken anymore… but as the weeks progressed, the weight started coming off,” he explained, sharing his workouts from his home gym in Holmdel, New Jersey.

He also mentioned how he told the MTV crew, “We’re going to bring The Situation back. It’s working!” The team seemed a bit skeptical at first—understandably so.

In September, he shared a photo that sparked chatter among fans, many speculating he had undergone cosmetic procedures.

“Everyone was saying, ‘Oh, he must’ve had plastic surgery,’ just because I posted a pic of my face. It’s just me after hitting the gym and doing my laundry,” he joked, referencing the iconic “GTL” routine made famous by the show.

He specifically dismissed rumors about using Ozempic, stating he wouldn’t resort to weight-loss drugs due to their potential to cause muscle loss.

This Halloween, he’s planning to dress up as Sylvester Stallone from Rocky, channeling another Italian with impressive abs. “I’ve got the red, white, and blue shorts, the boots, and the title belt,” he shared, adding, “I weigh about what Stallone did during Rocky IV.”

On October 16, he posed shirtless in Times Square with a backdrop showcasing his abs, revealing the moment felt genuine and spontaneous as onlookers cheered him on.

Sorrentino wrote a memoir in 2023, “Reality Check: Making the Best of the Situation,” detailing his journey through addiction, loss, and even a prison sentence for tax evasion.

Reflecting on his path, he said, “It’s been a wild journey—from having abs when I first became known, to falling into addiction, to recovery, and now having them back again… this really is the evolution of The Situation.” He’s also gearing up to open his treatment center, Archangel Center, located in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

“I’ve built a family, I’ve got a story, I’ve found sobriety, and my abs are back. Each of those achievements is priceless. They didn’t come easy; I worked hard for them,” he affirmed.

In a recent Instagram post of his new look, one fan playfully suggested he should consider action movies.

“I wouldn’t rule that out,” he replied. “Now, I feel like I could be an action figure!”
