Mike Tyson, Jake Paul party it up at star-studded Trump inauguration

Why can't we be romantic about politics?

Monday's inauguration, attended by Jake Paul, 27, and Mike Tyson, 58, was one of many celebrations for President Donald Trump, with his supposed enemies We became friends.

Paul carried his former boxing rival on his shoulders while attending a party in Washington DC where A-list celebrities and state power brokers clashed.

Tyson nervously put his hands on his face as Paul hoisted him onto his shoulders from behind as attendees watched and cheered.

The former heavyweight champion ended up celebrating with a fist pump, and Paul held him high.

On November 15th, as fans watched in dismay, Paul and Tyson fought to a disappointing decision, with Tyson barely able to stand after just a few minutes of light combat.

Many noted that the two fighters were a little too friendly inside the ring, and Paul later admitted that he was hesitant about knocking out the boxing legend.

The game was broadcast live on Netflix from the Cowboys' AT&T Stadium, and with a $16 million gate, both players made millions of dollars.

Tyson and President Trump have had a strong relationship over the years, as the leader of the free world hosted many of the boxers' matches at his Atlantic City hotel.

Paul attended the presidential inauguration with his brother Logan and posed for a photo with potential future opponent Conor McGregor.

They were joined in the transport vehicle by podcaster Theo Fung and Nerk Boyz founder Kyle Foligard, among others.

Fong told McGregor:the person sitting next to Pam, Paul's mother, said, “Don't mess with Pam.”
