“I don’t think he can hurt me.”

In a published interview Esquire Tyson said Monday that he had been constantly advised by friends and family about the risks of fighting Paul, who, at 27, has made a successful transition from the world of social media to the boxing ring and now boasts a 9-1 record.

But for Tyson, that’s not up for debate.

“I’m a glory addict. I love having people think about me all day,” Tyson said. I had a medical emergency On an airplane. “I would rather live a short, glorious life than a long, obscure one. That’s just who I am.”

Jake Paul says he plans to retire from boxing within the next four years, and he has good reason for it

“I started fighting to get this f**king position,” he later continued, “and I’m going to chase it for the rest of my life. I know that. I’m a pain-hungry person, so I’ll never get what I want. I’ll never get tired of pain.”

Tyson, who turned 58 at the end of June, was on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles in May when I suffered from nausea and dizziness. A statement from his agent at the time said the incident was due to “an aggravation of an ulcer 30 minutes before landing.”

The medical incident raised concerns about Tyson and led to speculation that the fight would be called off, but Most Valuable Promotions announced the bout would be postponed after Tyson was examined by medical experts and then examined further.

Tyson’s first official fight in nearly two decades will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 15. Paul is still scheduled to face mixed martial arts star and bare-knuckle boxing champion Mike Perry on July 20 as originally scheduled.
