Ahead of both bouts on July 24th, bettors are focusing entirely on Mike Tyson over Jake Paul.
After opening as the big underdog, BetUS’ money has flocked to the soon-to-be 58-year-old boxing legend as he prepares to step into the ring against 27-year-old Paul.
“The line continues to move as people in the gambling world have shown incredibly strong support for Tyson,” BetUS communications director Tim Williams said. “Tyson is already the clear favorite of bettors.”
When BetUS opened betting in early March, Tyson opened at +225 to win the fight.
By Friday afternoon, Tyson was down to +105, trailing at nearly even odds.
Meanwhile, Paul fell from -300 to -135 favorite over the same period.
“If this trend continues, Tyson could become the odds-on favorite by the time the fight begins on July 20th, potentially turning the tables completely,” Williams said.
“Tyson is attracting the lion’s share of betting action, so we should continue to watch this line move in order to attract bets on Paul and break even before July begins,” he added. .
“Tyson has too much support and if he wins, we will probably suffer a significant loss.”
The game will be streamed on Netflix and will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Ahead of the fight, Tyson was shown a number of videos of himself sparring, sprinting, and even showing some serious punching power, which shocked some fans on social media.
Still, his past strength and conditioning coach isn’t concerned because boxing is not a sprint.
Tyson last fought on November 28, 2020, when he boxed Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition to a draw.
