Miley Cyrus and Max Morando are celebrating their engagement after four years of dating, as reported.
Cyrus, at 33, and 27-year-old Morando began their relationship in 2021, and rumors about their engagement surfaced recently during a red carpet appearance.
The couple attended the premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” together in Los Angeles, where Cyrus showcased a diamond ring while posing for photographers.
A sparkly appearance of Cyrus in mid-November had fans speculating about the engagement.
Jewelry designer Jackie Aish’s agency confirmed that she created Cyrus’ ring, which features a cushion cut on a 14K yellow gold band.
Cyrus’ representatives have been contacted for further comments.
In November 2021, Cyrus publicly acknowledged her relationship with Morando by posting a picture of herself at a Gucci fashion show. However, they were spotted together as early as January that year, looking cozy at an event.
In October of that same year, a source told media that their romance was becoming serious.
In an interview with British Vogue in early 2023, Cyrus mentioned that they were set up on a blind date and that Morando had been a steady presence in her life since then, attending various events with her.
This included occasions like the Grammy Awards in 2024, where Cyrus, who won for her track “Flowers,” gave a shout-out to Morando during her acceptance speech.
Shortly after, it was reported that the couple had moved in together. Friends noted Cyrus seems very happy with Morando, highlighting his private nature, which complements her life.
Reflecting on their age gap, Cyrus humorously noted their different upbringings with technology, and also mentioned their shared love for memes and their dog.
They even worked together on Cyrus’ album “Something Beautiful,” as she feels inspired by him. In September, five years post-divorce from Liam Hemsworth, she shared lingering sentimental feelings connected to their past, emphasizing the importance of preserving memories.
Cyrus is also organizing aspects of her life that she wants to cherish, as she aims to create a legacy of her artistic journey.
“Everything I do in life is a little bit intense, but it has to be whole,” she said, capturing her evolution and mindset.
