Tish Cyrus has revealed that she might have been a “better parent” if she had smoked marijuana while her children were growing up.
Tish, 56, has three children with ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus: Miley Cyrus, Braison, and Noah Cyrus. Her music manager, she has two children, Brandi and Trace, with her first husband, Baxter Neal Helson.
“Actually, I think I was too…I didn’t smoke weed when I had kids,” Tish said on the podcast Sorry, Stoned, which she co-hosts with her daughter Brandi. “I started smoking when I was about 46.”
“So I think if I had smoked at that time, I would have been a better parent,” she explained. “If it were me…I think I would have found it more fun if it had been a school project or something.”

Brandi, 36, noted that Tish might have been “more forgiving” if he had been smoking marijuana at the time.
“I was just like, ‘Ah!’ So I really wish I had smoked at that time,” Tish added.

On Thursday’s episode, Tish and Brandy were joined by rapper Wiz Khalifa, who looked back on his 2013 collaboration with Miley, “23.”
“She loved weed, and I didn’t smoke weed at the time,” Tisch recalled. “And I wasn’t happy with her.”
Miley has since stopped smoking marijuana. She revealed her decision in a 2017 interview with Billboard.
“I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever been.” [gone without it]the “Hannah Montana” star said at the time. “I don’t do drugs, I don’t drink, I’m completely clean now!” That was exactly what I wanted to do. ”
For Miley, the change was “easy.” “When I want something, it’s very easy for me,” she told the outlet. “But if someone had told me not to smoke, I wouldn’t have smoked, because it was my time. I know exactly where I am now.”

Tish and her family have been the subject of speculation about family discord since her divorce from Billy Ray in 2022.
This was not the first time the former couple had filed for divorce. Billy Ray filed for divorce in 2010, but the two worked things out and reconciled a year later. In June 2013, Tish filed for divorce again, but the couple reunited a month later.
Miley was not present when Billy Ray married his new wife Firerose in October last year.

Meanwhile, Noah and his younger brother Brayson were noticeably absent from their mother’s wedding to Dominic Purcell. The brothers reportedly spent their mother’s wedding day together, posting an expired Instagram Story in which Noah went out to Walmart wearing a Billy Ray shirt.
Miley served as maid of honor for her mother’s big moment and walked Tisch down the aisle at her wedding in Malibu.
