Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour Show Solidarity at Stranger Things 5 Premiere

Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour seem to be very much on good terms. The pair appeared together at the Stranger Things 5 world premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday, amidst reports of allegations involving bullying on the set of the popular Netflix series.

The actors shared a laugh and posed for photos, seemingly aiming to put any rumors of a feud to rest.

Brown expressed her deep connection with Harbour during their red carpet appearances, saying, “I obviously have a special bond with David because we have a father-daughter relationship and we do every scene together. We really see that in season five.” She added that having him with her and the rest of the cast on this journey has been quite special.

While chatting with reporters, Brown reflected on their relationship: “It was amazing. We’re so lucky to have found each other. The show means so much to both of us and to everyone here.” Harbour echoed these sentiments, noting, “I adore her and am proud to have watched them grow and become great artists. I doubt this will be the last time we meet or work together.”

Meanwhile, creators Matt Duffer and Shawn Levy addressed the allegations head-on. Duffer mentioned, “Of course, I understand that I can’t go into the issue of personal onset, but we’ve been doing this work for 10 years with this cast, and at this point, they’re family.” He emphasized the importance of creating a safe and happy environment on set.

Levy was asked about how the production ensures a respectful and safe atmosphere for everyone involved. He stated, “At the end of the day, it’s a job. We have to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe.” He also remarked on the discrepancies in the stories circulating, sharing that the cast and crew view each other as family, treating one another with respect.

As for the allegations, reports indicated that Brown filed a complaint regarding Harbour before the filming of the final season began. There were detailed claims that sparked an internal investigation, which reportedly unfolded over several months.

Additionally, it’s said that Brown filmed the series finale accompanied by a personal representative on set. The news outlet has reached out to all parties for comments regarding the situation.

Harbour has previously spoken about his strong affection for Brown, describing his “deep fatherly love” for her and expressing concern over her well-being in the spotlight.
