Millions' Prayers Have Been Fulfilled with the Signing of a Peace Agreement

On Monday, President Donald Trump announced that the agreement between Israel and Hamas to initiate the first phase of a peace process is a fulfillment of many people’s hopes.

This statement came shortly after he signed a peace document with several leaders, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, amidst a gathering of global leaders like Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

“Today marks a significant moment that people in this region and worldwide have long aspired to,” President Trump remarked.

“With this momentous agreement, the hopes of millions have been realized. As you may have heard, hostages have been returned, but unfortunately, efforts are still ongoing to recover other individuals,” he mentioned.

President Trump has boldly declared “peace in the Middle East,” noting the common belief that such peace was unattainable. Earlier, he had shared aspirations that Iran would respond favorably to stringent sanctions and the dismantling of its nuclear facilities through Operation Midnight Hammer.

“After extensive suffering and continuous conflict, the war in Gaza has concluded. Humanitarian aid is flooding in, with countless trucks delivering food, medical supplies, and more—much of which has been funded by those present here,” he stated.

He emphasized that civilians are returning to their homes, and families are reuniting with their loved ones.

“I’ve been observing the emotional scenes. The overwhelming love and sadness are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced,” he noted.

“It’s striking to see families who haven’t been together for so long. Some had lived in confined spaces, underground. The depth of their love is just remarkable,” he added.

President Trump also mentioned that he and the other leaders have committed to support Gaza and enhance the lives of its people. However, he stressed the importance of not financing any actions linked to violence or hatred.

“We concurred that rebuilding Gaza necessitates disarmament and the establishment of a trustworthy civilian police force to ensure safety for its citizens,” he added.

The president remarked that the region has promising opportunities if it maintains progress toward peace.

“Let’s keep the spirit of collaboration and goodwill that led to this remarkable breakthrough alive,” he encouraged.

“Together, we’ll strive toward a radiant destiny for the Middle East: a secure, thriving, and culturally rich hub, symbolizing faith in humanity and serving as the center of the world,” he concluded.
