White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt was torn apart by Democrats during his explanation on Tuesday to continue demanding that illegal immigrants deported to El Salvador be returned to the United States.
Democrats and mainstream media were furious that Salvador national Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia was deported to a Central American country despite his deportation after he claimed he was afraid of rival gangs. The Trump administration has deported the country because Abrego Garcia is illegal and violent gangs are no longer the issue in El Salvador.
“I don’t know this is this harder for everybody in the media to understand.”
When Washington reporter Matthew Foldy asked Lewitt about Democrats like Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen who defends keeping illegal foreigners like Abrego Garcia in the United States, she said Democrats’ priorities were “swaying.”
“You’ve said it’s brutal to Capitol Hill, where you have Democrats in Congress, to protect their members, to serve them, to say it’s brutal to spend more time defending illegal immigrant gang members than their own members and law-abiding American citizens,” Lewitt said.
Morin is a Maryland mother and was killed by illegal immigrants during the Biden-Harris border crisis. The man accused of her murder was convicted Monday.
Leavitt proved that the Democrats’ actions “they didn’t care much about the American people. If they did, they would see a slightly higher recognition rating.”
When Levitt was asked again about Abrego Garcia, she expressed her disdain for media attempts to create a cycle of anger towards those who were justly taken away from the United States.
“Abrego Garcia was a foreign terrorist. He was a member of the MS-13 gang. He was engaged in human trafficking. He came to our country illegally. Sending him back to El Salvador was always the final result. MS-13 membership.
“I don’t know this is so difficult for anyone in the media to understand,” Levitt continued.
“That really touches me.”
