Ministers Notice a Resurgence of Faith After the Assassination of the TPUSA Founder

Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10th, a pastor from California, who was a close friend of Kirk, observes a significant spiritual revival.

Rev. Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills recently mentioned that people are actively seeking answers at his church, as reported by an outlet.

“People are approaching us and asking, ‘What is the meaning and purpose of life? Why am I here?’” he noted. There’s talk about this phenomenon being dubbed the “Charlie Kirk effect.”

Kirk’s murder occurred during a lecture at Utah Valley University, causing shockwaves across the country and sparking mourning among many Christian conservatives and advocates for free speech.

Additionally, Matt Zelousen from Newman, who supports numerous campus ministries, mentioned that some institutions have seen a 15% increase in youth attending mass.

Hibbs stated the day after Kirk’s death that Kirk was a devoted testament to Christianity, always eager to share the gospel with others, according to Breitbart News.

He expressed, “It has been my privilege to know Charlie Kirk well over the years. I can’t convey how immensely proud he was of his steadfast Christian witness and how he honored the Lord in his life. For Charlie, knowing Jesus was paramount.”

During Kirk’s service at a packed state farm stadium in Glendale, Arizona, many attendees reflected on his commitment to trusting Christ as Lord and Savior, as conveyed by his pastor, Rob McCoy, during his gospel message.

In a post shortly after Kirk’s murder, Turning Point USA Faith encouraged people to attend church, suggesting “Charlie would have wanted nothing more than for his followers to stand firm, exalt Christ, and live boldly.”

A recent Fox report highlighted that Bible sales had climbed to 10 million copies by August, representing an increase of over 1 million from the previous year.

In an interview with Breitbart News after Kirk’s assassination, X Strategy CEO Alex Bruschwitz remarked, “Charlie was more than just a political voice. He was a powerful advocate for Christianity in our country and took immense pride in it.”
