Minnesota REQUIRES 'thoughts and prayers' during the outcry from the left

Yet another school shooting—another blow to the Christian community, and a deep sorrow for countless American families.

And, of course, we see a wave of progressive outrage claiming that Christians misuse our prayers in times of distress.

“We shouldn’t just default to ‘thoughts and prayers’ now. These kids were literally praying,” said Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey on Wednesday.

“It was their first week back at school. They were in church.”

He wasn’t alone; several others quickly leaped to politicize this unimaginable tragedy.

This pattern seems to repeat itself every time disaster strikes, whether it’s natural or man-made.

I send my heartfelt prayers and sincere thoughts. Yet, they label us as monsters, seemingly ignoring their own calls for restricting our fundamental rights, particularly the Second Amendment.

Honestly, I’m a bit weary of offering my prayers, not because they’re insignificant, but because the need for them is so great.

The progressive agenda seems intent on dismantling the foundations of a functioning society, leaving the rest of us to deal with the aftermath.

They feed our children falsehoods about their identities.

They push for a “reinvention” of what a family looks like.

Expressions of traditional masculine strength are labeled “toxic,” unless they come from women who identify as men.

They remove critical thinking and genuine academic learning from schools, replacing it with troubling focuses like “social learning” and gender identity issues.

They pressure our boys into taking medication for simply being boys, neglecting to support girls in facing tough emotions or situations.

In the name of “kindness,” they leave our children emotionally abandoned, only to release them into a world that feels the repercussions.

They let evil roam free, then criticize us for turning to God.

Our prayers are not a last resort; they are our first line of defense against such malevolence.

When we pray, we accept that our human strength is inadequate to tackle sorrow and the evil that instigates it.

We aim to bring comfort to those around us, drawing from a well of support far greater than any organization.

Progressives seem wholly devoted to their ideology of disarmament and victimhood, leaving no space for rational discussions.

Maybe that’s why they react so strongly to our prayers. Perhaps thought is the last thing they wish for us to engage in.

Ironically, they claim that prayers lack logic.

But we understand reality.

We know that physical objects are not inherently evil, but human behaviors can be.

We recognize that putting children on potent antipsychotics, which can lead to depression and suicidal thoughts, is a dangerous choice.

We understand that dismantling the pillars of a healthy society—like the nuclear family and faith—will harm our children’s growth.

We see the consequences of these actions, and what happened in Minnesota this week is a heavy price for these serious missteps.

We’re not foolish enough to suggest sacrificing human rights in the name of “safety.”

We also know better than to approach a crisis unprepared.

So we arm ourselves with the most potent weapon we have: prayer.

And this is where the left struggles. They seem to want us powerless in every aspect.

If progressives dislike our prayers, they ought to cease their attacks on our children.
