Police in Nashville, Tennessee, announced Saturday that the body of a missing 44-year-old woman has been found in Whites Creek, north of the metropolitan area, according to reports.
The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department announced Sunday that Emily Bradley’s body was found the day before in a creek near Buena Vista Pike, Nashville’s WRKN reported.
The agency also reported that the medical examiner’s office said her cause of death was blunt force trauma.
Bradley was last seen driving a silver 2014 Chevrolet Cruze on Feb. 18 in the area of Dickerson Pike and Hart Lane in East Nashville.

“Emily is a ray of light. She loves music, she dances, she’s a little monk who spins around. She’s just a sweet little spirit,” Judy Rose, a longtime family friend, told WKRN. (Emily Bradley on Facebook)
Investigators in the case told Fox News Digital that a license plate reader detected two collisions with Bradley’s car near Hendersonville on February 21, but it’s unclear who was driving it. That’s what he said. The car was picked up while traveling outside the city.
Police are searching the vehicle, the department said, but authorities announced on March 3 that they were still searching for a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with Florida license plate 086PML.
Police also said that Bradley’s cell phone was turned off on February 18th and has not been turned on again since then.

The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department could not be reached for comment.
Nick Bradley traveled hundreds of miles from Florida to post fliers about his daughter in the areas where she went missing.
“It’s pretty intense. It’s pretty bad,” the elder Bradley told WKRN. “We don’t know what happened, but we think something bad happened.”
Jaiya Wendall, who told the outlet that Bradley was her “platonic life partner,” said her friend “never went five days without contact.” [her.]”

Wendall said her 44-year-old girlfriend never showed up for her first day at her new job.
“For her, not getting a phone call or a call on her first day of work is something she’s never done before, or would ever do,” Wendall said. “Everything in my core tells me something is wrong.”
Judy Rose, a longtime family friend, said Bradley’s beloved service dog Bob Johnson was left alone at the missing woman’s home in Barnes.
“Anyone who looks at Emily can tell there’s Bob Johnson with her,” Rose told WKRN. “This has been her service animal for about 23 years. She would never leave Bob Johnson confined to her home without her caregiver.”

As soon as news broke that her body had been found, Facebook memorial pages buzzed with memories and comments about the incident.
“When I was 14, I was watching ‘Fantasia’ at my girlfriend’s house. I was trying not to wake her father. Then she made me help her clean up.” [her] Brandi McMahan posted: “The morning after the party she was riding horses. She wasn’t afraid of hard work or getting dirty and always had a sense of style.” She never badmouthed anyone and kept her space. She came to rescue me from prison. And I came to rescue her.
