Missing Texas mom Suzanne Clark Simpson’s husband’s business partner arrested

The business partner of the husband of missing Texas mother Suzanne Clark Simpson has been arrested on suspicion of tampering with evidence. Less than two weeks after her husband was jailed on domestic violence charges.

The Texas Department of Public Safety announced that James Valle Cotter, 65, was arrested at his home on Monday on a third-degree felony charge of tampering with evidence.

Cotter is accused of trying to dispose of a weapon for Clark Simpson's husband, Brad Simpson, that may have been linked to her disappearance two weeks ago. A source told MySanAntonio.

Cotter is also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and is being held on $500,000 bail, according to jail records.
