The incredible footage captures the moment Mississippi Lt. Colonel Delbert Joseman suddenly collapsed on the floor of a state senator on Wednesday morning.

A dramatic moment recorded in a livestream of legislative lawsuits showed a 77-year-old Republican standing on the Senate podium.

The shocking incident caused Joseman's colleague to panic as he fired a hearable gasp and called for his name by rushing to request emergency services for his assistance, the video showed.

The Senate process quickly became boring as he saw a doctor.

“Thank you for your kind words and prayers,” Joseman was re-elected in November 2023 for the second term X Posted on Wednesday night.

“I'm dehydrated and I'm fine now. I'm grateful to the incredible medical professionals in Mississippi and ready to go back to work tomorrow. Lessons learned: Stay hydrated .”

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, along with other state lawmakers, took Joseman to social media to send in Secretary of State from 2008 to 2020.

Live-streamed video from the Mississippi Senate has since been deleted. Later, a fall clip has been played on social media along with an online audience questioning the quality of Josemann's health.

Discourses beyond the age of elected officials were amplified when 82-year-old Sen. Mitch McConnell was photographed in a wheelchair after suffering multiple waterfalls on Capitol Hill.
