A Missouri woman was sentenced to 12 years in prison for intentionally setting a packed house on fire using a bag of Takis tortilla chips.

Williams admitted to authorities that he started the fire using spicy snacks, knowing that they contained a lot of oil and could catch fire. According to court documents.

The convicted arsonist was captured on surveillance footage buying $2 worth of gas at a nearby gas station, then entering the home and pouring gasoline from a soda bottle all over piles of clothes and the laundry room floor. It was getting worse.

Three people who witnessed Williams' brazen act fled the house safely and reported him to the police.
