Mitch McConnell, 83, Falls Down Stairs in Capitol Building

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) fell down the stairs outside his Senate room on Wednesday.

McConnell, with the help of Steve Daines (R-MT) and Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), tried to get up and walk around it.

McConnell was treated for a concussion last year. The injury occurred when he fell in a hotel in Washington, D.C. It was CNN, one of his many health issues in 2023. It has been reported

Waterfalls were not the most concern. McConnell froze twice while talking to reporters. This moment raised questions about McConnell's ability to remain a Republican leader.

He announced shortly afterward that he would not seek another leadership position.

McConnell chaired the Senate Budget Subcommittee on Defense in January.

Under McConnell's Senate leadership, national debt rose more than $35 trillion, illegal immigration spikes, and true wages for American workers did not grow. Obamacare was established in 2010. Congress bailed out major banks in 2008, and social media companies silenced individuals without any impact. McConnell is also affiliated with the Chinese government.
