Mitch McConnell Has ‘Leg Stiffness’ After Latest Fall, Stays Home from Capitol

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), 83, was working from home Thursday due to stiffness in his legs, according to a spokesperson for the senator.

Mr. McConnell collapsed on Tuesday, continuing a pattern that would raise alarm in 2023.

According to Breitbart News, the horrifying incident occurred after he addressed a group at the Senate Republican Conference's weekly luncheon.

The images showed McConnell in a wrist brace, with bruises on his hands and bandages on his fingers and face.

According to a CNN spokesperson, “Leader McConnell is experiencing stiffness in his leg after stumbling on Tuesday and will be working from home today.” reported Thursday.

McConnell's injury occurred after he was treated for a concussion in 2023. The injury occurred during a fall at a hotel in Washington, D.C. According to CNN, 2023 was one of many fall reported.

Mr. McConnell also froze twice during his conversation with reporters. The moment called into question his mental ability to continue as Republican leader.
