After a 20-year-old Georgia woman went missing, her distraught mother is pleading with the public for any information regarding her daughter’s death. The grieving mother was informed of her young daughter’s death on Mother’s Day.
Maury Ange Faith Martinez of Alpharetta was last seen leaving the Gwinnett County Jail on August 28, 2023 at approximately 2:20 p.m. WSB TelevisionFurther investigation by police determined her last known location was in an unincorporated area of Cobb County, according to Sergeant Eric Smith with the Cobb County Police Department.
The Martinez family reported the woman missing on Aug. 28, 2023. At the time, police had issued an alert for the public to search for the missing woman.
On January 5, 2024, skeletal remains were discovered in rural Chattanooga, Tennessee, approximately 100 miles from where Martinez was last seen.
Last month, the Hamilton County, Tennessee, coroner identified the body as that of Maury Ange Faith Martinez. statement by the Cobb County Police Department.
Molly Ange’s mother, Anita Darling, was informed on Mother’s Day that her daughter’s skeletal remains had been discovered in a wooded area in Tennessee after she had been missing for more than 250 days.
“Please come forward and say something.”
Ms Darling has made a desperate plea with the public to come forward with any details that could help bring some closure to her daughter’s tragic death.
“I want to know what happened to my daughter. It doesn’t heal the loss, but it fills the hole my brain has had for the rest of our lives making up stories of what happened,” Darling said. Waga TV.
The grieving mother said: “Someone must know something. She was a remarkable girl. She was a beautiful girl with vigour and a fascinating personality. If anyone has any information please speak up.”
“We have increased resources but it still takes a lot of coordination between us to make sure we’re sharing information and things like that to get to the bottom of what happened,” Sergeant Smith explained.

“She was a very loving, funny, quirky person who would sing at the top of her lungs without caring who was listening,” Darling said of her daughter. “She was a truly loving person and that’s what I’m most proud of.”
Her mother added: “It’s the funny little things we see and notice that remind us of Molly.”
