The man captured the moment an Amazon delivery driver appeared to steal a package he had just delivered.
Matthew Perry, 29, ordered a Bluetooth device in his car and a training bench from Amazon. This total costs $15.
In the video, filmed at 12pm on March 16th, the delivery driver places the package and walks around the corner.
However, 30 seconds later, the delivery driver got the parcel before he ran down the garden path.
Perry said he was at work while his package was being delivered and was shocked that someone was putting his job at risk with a $15 package.
On March 18, 2024, after Perry complained to Amazon, the delivery driver returned the package he had taken from the front door.
“I was sitting at work, I couldn't believe what I saw. I was even more mad at myself because I wasn't home,” said Perry, a chef from Wesley Chapel, Florida.
“I laughed at first, but he put the entire job at risk for over $15.”
“It's the principle of how he makes Amazon look.”
“I still can't believe what happened.”
An Amazon spokesperson said, “We reached out to our customers to apologise, letting them know that we were considering this and that we were taking appropriate action.”
