Mommy Vlogger Ruby Franke’s Abuse Diaries Released

Ruby Franke’s diary, detailing months of abuse, was shared by authorities on Friday.

The texts, which have been largely redacted for privacy, reveal that Franke believed her son was possessed by an evil spirit. In one of her posts, she said that she asked her child to fast and pray in order to become rebellious. “I told Mr. R that he needed God. I encouraged him to fast and pray. He could work and be calm for a while, then the next moment he was angry and rebellious. “The only constant about R is that he lies,” the once popular family video blogger from Utah wrote. journal.

In another entry, she called July 11, 2023 “an important day for evil” and asked her son to put on his hat and stand in the sun. Franke thought he was being stubborn when he didn’t listen and stayed in the shade. So she pushed him into the sun and used a cactus to move him.

“R was asked to put on a sun hat and stand in the sun,” Franke continued. “He’s rebellious. … R, or should I say his devil, stays in the shadows. I push R into the sun. R comes back. He comes back with a cactus poker. R doesn’t flinch when I poke him on the back to get some sun. I poke him in the neck. He’s in a trance and doesn’t seem to feel anything. Jody slaps him on the cheek. It woke me up.” (Related: Report: Mom Vlogger Ruby Franke Arrested After Abused Child Allegedly Climbed Through Window)

The mom vlogger then asked her son if he knew how much his family and “savior” cared about him. She decides to mop him up and get him to come out of the shade. “I’m going to R with mop water,” she wrote. “Show the water to Mr. R. Then pour the water to R. It’s hot outside. “Doesn’t it feel good?” Yes. “

Franke also mentioned that her son was pushed into the pool that day. She talked about how she covered his face with her hands and asked him if he had ever heard someone talking underwater. “I know R is out there somewhere. I know you can hear me deep inside all this anger,” she wrote. “It may sound like I’m underwater with you, but hear me out, ‘I love you.'”

As previously reported, a court sentenced Ruby Franke and her partner Jodi Hildebrandt to up to 60 years in prison for child abuse. Franke received the maximum sentence allowed in Utah, four consecutive terms ranging from one to 15 years. The pair pleaded guilty in December, with Franke admitting to harming the children by starving them and submerging their heads in water.
