In a recent interview “I'll call her dad.” Lewinski, a podcast released Tuesday, said the “right way” Clinton handled the fallout from their events was to “resignate.”
“The right way to deal with such a situation was probably to say that no one's business has resigned,” Lewinsky said.
“Or we're not throwing young people just starting out in the world under the bus to find a way to stay in an office where we haven't lied,” she continued. “And at the same time, I hear myself say it. It's like talking about the most powerful office in the world. I don't want to be naive either.”
“I'll call her dad.” Host Alex Cooper asked Lewinsky how the press and the White House should handle the situation.
“It's really complicated because you're talking so many people about the issues and situations that have affected you,” Lewinsky added.
“Maybe this is a reflection of my generation and my age, but I don't know where the right balance is. “collect” Podcast.
“I think there was so much collateral damage to see women of my generation being plundered on the world stage and torn apart for my sexuality, my mistakes, all of me.”
“I was lucky enough to hold onto my true self's chains, but I lost my future,” Lewinski said.
“I am very grateful for how my life has changed over the last decade. …But that certainly wasn't something I was given.”
Initially, Clinton denied his relationship with Lewinski, then a 22-year-old White House intern between 1995 and 1996. However, he later admitted that the events had happened – he was still in office.
However, this event eventually caused an even bigger media fire in 1998, leading to Clinton's blast each. Nevertheless, the US Senate ultimately chose to acquit him.
