Beautiful women love this Deng thing.
Having captured the hearts of social media, VIP pygmy hippo Mu Deng is now the most influential “It” girl in the glamour world.
“Makeup inspired by the legendary Mu Deng himself.” Cosmetics Content Creator SaysMay Pang of has been letting her over 3.9 million TikTok followers know about beauty's wildest new trend.
“Why?” the avant-garde makeup artist continued, painting her face to resemble the petite sensation, “because she has it all: fresh skin, amazing eye circles and a zest for life.”
“I truly hope she knows the impact she has on the world.”
While it's unlikely that Mu Deng is aware of the world she's ruling (she's a two-month-old baby hippopotamus and can't read), this internet icon's star is still on the rise.
With her captivating eyes and diva-like temperament, Thailand's Moo Den burst onto the cyberspace scene in early September, attracting the attention of brands like personal care retailer Sephora. Bow down to her enchanting glory.
The footage of Her Majesty throwing a tantrum and biting a zookeeper's kneecap at Khao Kheow Zoo went viral and catapulted her to A-list star status.
The small mammal, native to West Africa, is perhaps the most celebrated of a string of animals that have recently received celebrity accolades, including “Pest,” a 49-pound baby penguin, and “Crumbles,” a 38-pound kitten from Russia.
But like many child actors, Mu Deng's road to fame has already hit some obstacles.

According to reports, the wonderful joker's over-the-top fans ferociously swarmed her enclosure at the conversation center, hurling objects at her in an attempt to capture her adorable but petulant reactions on camera.
But zoo director Narongwit Chodchoi warned visitors in an online statement that “such practices are not only cruel but also dangerous. We must protect these animals and ensure they have a safe and comfortable environment.”
And those who want to honor this adorable petite woman's space while celebrating her undeniable influence are doing so with glowing blushes, glossy lipsticks, and silky creams.
“I've never worn makeup to look like a celebrity.” The beauty influencer said: Rachel Celine from TikTok tutorial. “But today I was inspired by Mu Deng.”
“She's glowing,” Celine says of the glowing hippo.
The makeup professional then applied an array of designer cosmetics to the baby's face to recreate his natural look.
“One thing about Mu Deng,” Celine praised, “she will shine.”
