Morgan Riddle Speaks Out After Split from Taylor Fritz
Morgan Riddle has addressed notions of being “erased” from the tennis scene after her recent breakup with Taylor Fritz, currently ranked No. 7 in the world.
In a recent episode of the podcast “Hot Smart Rich,” Riddle, a lifestyle creator and co-founder of The 400 Club—a community aimed at female sports fans—shared that her approach to tennis has shifted now that she’s single.
When podcast host Maggie Sellers referred to her as potentially becoming “the most powerful woman in men’s tennis,” Riddle expressed her intent to keep creating tennis-related content. She mentioned her plans to attend the US Open, emphasizing that she has a contract for the event.
“I’m not going to disappear from that world. Sure, my entry will be different, but many girls have reached out asking me not to step away from tennis. They still want my commentary and content,” she explained.
While she noted that she wouldn’t be as involved as she once was, she reassured fans of her continuing presence in the tennis community. “Tennis didn’t cause our breakup; he’s still my friend,” she added.
Riddle and Fritz ended their six-year relationship in April, with Riddle revealing that she was the one who initiated the split. Despite this, she maintains that their relationship remains strong, and she doesn’t regret her decision.
Throughout their relationship, Riddle gained significant social media fame, sharing fashion and lifestyle content, along with glimpses into the life of the ATP Tour while traveling with Fritz.
The couple originally met during the pandemic via the exclusive dating app Raya.
Since their breakup, Riddle has relocated to New York and launched her business, The 400 Club. Friends and family have commented on how happy she seems these days.
A wave of support from fans has led to her being affectionately dubbed “the world’s best ex-girlfriend,” a label she has embraced by wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase post-split.
