Morgan Wallen provides update on piano after breaking it during concert in Denver

Piano Update from Morgan Wallen Following On-Stage Mishap

Morgan Wallen recently gave his fans an update after an incident where he broke a piano during a live performance. The country singer shared a video on his Instagram Stories on Monday, reflecting on the viral moment that occurred while he was on stage.

“Hey, I just want you all to know, this piano is working right now,” he mentioned in the video, assuring fans that everything was alright. He humorously added, “That’s what I was told last night too.”

In the clip, Wallen, dressed in a blue and orange flannel shirt and a baseball cap, stands on top of a red piano while wearing headphones. It’s a bit unclear if they were connected to the instrument.

He cheekily commented beneath the video, saying, “You can’t see I’m so distraught about the piano.”

This incident drew attention over the weekend when fans captured footage of Wallen seemingly frustrated, pushing down on the malfunctioning piano during a performance in Denver.

In a fan-recorded video, Wallen finishes his song “Sand in My Boots” before walking over to the piano and, well, pushing it over. It’s kind of amusing, really—was he just at the end of his rope with the instrument? The caption from a TikTok video noted, “After he finished the a cappella, he pushed the piano over and broke it!”

Currently, Wallen is on his “Still the Problem Tour,” which began back in April in Minneapolis. He’s got quite a presence on stage, really.

Wallen collaborates with various musicians, including Tate McRae, known for their pop-country duet “What I Want.” Interestingly, McRae faced some backlash for working with Wallen, which adds another layer of complexity to their collaboration.

“I don’t think you need to regret anything in life,” McRae commented. It seems like both criticism and controversy can push boundaries and provoke growth, don’t you think?

I mean, in the world of music, it’s not unusual for artists to face scrutiny over their choices, especially when collaborating with others who are, let’s say, polarizing figures. On social media, reactions can be mixed; you might see people defending them or, conversely, criticizing their choices. It’s all part of the game, I guess.
