Morice Norris shares news after being in the hospital.

Morris Norris took to social media to share some uplifting words after suffering a severe injury during a game on Friday night against the Falcons.

He also shared a lighthearted post from teammate Terraion Arnold, which included screenshots of a FaceTime call. Norris seemed to be in good spirits despite the situation.

Arnold captioned the post, “Sometimes we forget how precious life is. It depends on playing this game we love, but we serve the Almighty… thank you God for protecting my brother.”

The injury occurred when Norris went to tackle running back Nathan Carter, whose knee accidentally struck Norris’s face mask, causing a serious impact.

The game had to be paused while Norris was taken away in an ambulance, even with the Lions leading 17-10 at that moment.

After the game, Lions head coach Dan Campbell provided an update, noting that Norris was breathing and responsive at Grady Memorial Hospital.

“I’m starting out, obviously the thoughts and prayers are the same as the monolith,” Campbell said. “We got some positive information about him. He’s in the hospital. I have to leave it as is, but when that happens, it puts things in perspective.”

He added, “He’s breathing. He’s talking. That’s fine. He has some moves. And now they’re running more tests.”

Later that night, the Lions informed fans via social media that Norris was stable but still in recovery. They wrote, “Morris Norris is in a stable state, with emotions and movement in every limb.”

The team also expressed gratitude toward the Atlanta Falcons organization, the EMS team at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the medical staff at Grady for their assistance.
