Zuckerman had been in discussions with Columbia for months and had expressed concerns since Oct. 7 about the university’s governance and response to anti-Semitism on campus, a spokesman for the Zuckerman Family Office said. Free BeaconColombia responded by asking for time to “rebuild trust and demonstrate better governance.”

But the restoration never took shape, and Zuckerman, a media and real estate mogul, suspended millions of dollars in funding. Columbia University has been one of the universities that has seen the most extreme anti-Semitism on campus since October 7, and especially during the spring “encampment.” Prosecutors from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, backed by George Soros, who recently prosecuted Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, dropped charges against most of the pro-Palestinian activists arrested in the violent occupation of Hamilton Hall.

Pro-Israel donors are fleeing top universities in droves because they do not stand up for terrorism or stop anti-Semitism, yet the Department of Justice has failed to address Jewish civil rights issues on campus.
