Mossad Director Acknowledges Success of Operation Raisinglion
Mossad’s Director, David Barnea, expressed his appreciation for the agency’s team after their recent success in Operation Raisinglion. He also acknowledged the support from the U.S., especially the CIA, in efforts to address the Iranian nuclear threat.
“These are significant times for Israel,” he noted. “The persistent threat from Iran, which has jeopardized our security for years, has been notably diminished due to the exceptional teamwork between the IDF and Mossad.” This collaboration has been crucial in navigating the challenges posed by Iran.
Interestingly, there was some speculation on Sunday morning regarding potential adjustments between Washington and Jerusalem in anticipation of an American strike during this turbulent period in the Middle East. Following a recent military operation, President Trump mentioned that he and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had coordinated their actions closely.
“I’m grateful to Prime Minister Netanyahu. We worked together—maybe like never before—making strides to eliminate this significant threat,” Trump stated during a national address after the strike against Iran.
Despite the recent successes, Barnea emphasized that the mission wasn’t over yet. “Mossad will diligently continue to monitor and respond to any threats we face,” he added, reinforcing their commitment to Israel’s security.
Meanwhile, Iran’s nuclear chief, Mohammad Eslami, reported that the country is currently evaluating the damage and preparing to restore its facilities, indicating that they are proactively working to maintain their production capabilities.
Both Trump and Netanyahu have vowed to take action if Iran attempts to reformulate its nuclear program in response.
