A majority of Americans say Vice President Harris is ready to accept the results of November's presidential election, but former President Trump is not, according to a new poll.

Sixty-eight percent of respondents believe Harris is ready to accept the election results, while 29% say she is not.
Meanwhile, just 29% of respondents said they thought Trump was willing to accept the results, while 67% said he was not.
Voters themselves also say they are ready to accept the outcome of the upcoming election: 81% say they are ready to accept the outcome of the election, while 17% say they are not ready.
The survey found that one in three voters is not confident that their election vote will be counted accurately, while 65% are very or somewhat confident that their vote will be counted correctly.
Respondents who expressed little confidence in the fairness of the election were also associated with being willing to accept the election results.
Those who were confident that their votes would be counted accurately said they were ready to accept the election results, while those who were not confident said they were not ready to accept the results.
The survey found that respondents who described themselves as very conservative were less likely to say they accepted the election results than those who described themselves as liberal, moderate or slightly conservative.
The survey was conducted among 2,496 adults from Aug. 23 to 27 and has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
