The Rams had a disappointing record of 5 wins and 12 losses the previous year, but improved to 9 wins and 7 losses.
“I never take winning for granted,” McVay said. “There were a lot of things we tried to do to keep us from winning today's game, but the players found a way. Sometimes you need these types of games to increase the sense of urgency. We had our chances, but they just stayed together. ”
