An upscale steakhouse in West Little Rock, Arkansas, experienced a significant disruption during a Mother’s Day visit from a TikTok food influencer. This incident reportedly involved heated exchanges between the influencers and the staff, escalating to a physical confrontation where a knife was thrown, as stated by the Little Rock Police Department.
Asia, Alicia, and Alivia Yarbrough, notable for their large social media followings, had complaints about how their steaks were prepared at Arthur’s Prime Steakhouse that day. They requested that all three steaks be remade to their liking. Initially, the manager refused to remake one of the steaks, later bringing it back and dismissively telling them, “This is how you make it.”
It seems that passing off mediocre service to an ordinary customer might fly, but that’s a different story with a disgruntled influencer who, let’s face it, has a considerable following. It’s rather astonishing to think about a proud parent discovering that their children have millions of social media followers.
Alicia, 25, claimed she aimed her phone at a 62-year-old waiter, who then took hold of it, leading to a physical altercation. She said he patted her on the back while another waiter, aged 57, intervened to assist his colleague. The police later found that one of the steaks had already been cut, rendering it ineligible for a remake.
Surveillance footage reportedly captured the Yarbroughs causing a scene throughout the restaurant. During the turmoil, Asia Yarbrough, 22, threw a knife at two waiters. Video of this confrontation gained traction on social media following the incident.
In addition to the chaos caused by the daughters, influencer mom Kimberly Forga has been accused of damaging the restaurant’s grand piano, with estimates of the damage reaching $2,500. Yet, identifying the exact harm remains somewhat ambiguous; it seems the legal process will need to clarify that aspect.
According to reports, Alicia faces two felony charges for aggravated assault and one misdemeanor for disorderly conduct, while her mother has been charged with a felony for criminal mischief and a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct. Both have pleaded not guilty and were released on bail, with a court appearance scheduled for July 7.
