MrBeast breaks silence on former co-host Ava Kris Tyson’s grooming allegations

YouTube star Mr.Beast has broken his silence regarding the underage seduction allegations against former co-star Ava Chris Tyson.

Tyson, 28, announced this week he was quitting the popular channel after being accused of sending inappropriate messages to a 13-year-old girl when he was 20 years old.

Meanwhile, MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) said he would no longer work with Tyson and revealed that he had hired a third party to conduct a thorough investigation into the allegations.

“Over the past few days I have learned of serious allegations regarding Eva Tyson’s online behavior and am disgusted by and opposed such unacceptable behavior,” he said. I wrote to X Wednesday night.

The video streamer told his 30 million followers that he had hired an independent third party to conduct further investigation to get “all the facts.”

“That being said, I have seen enough online and have taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel and all affiliation with MrBeast,” he continued. “I do not condone or support inappropriate behavior of any kind.”

“I will give the independent investigators the time they need to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take further action based on their findings,” he added.

His comments came a day after Tyson spoke out about the allegations. About X Tuesday.

“I would like to apologize if my past actions or words have hurt or offended anyone,” Tyson said in a statement. “That was not my intention.”

“In light of recent events, we have mutually decided it is best for me to permanently step away from Mr.Beast and all aspects of social media in order to focus on my family and mental health,” she added.

Tyson was accused of seducing a young fan, known online as Rava, in a 45-minute video posted online in June by the account Prism42. A rolling stone.

The video alleges that Tyson sent Snapchat messages to the then-underage girlfriend, depicting her face with the caption, “I’m here for America.”

But Rava, now 20, denied the allegations on Monday.

“I would like to add in a follow-up tweet that I have never trained anyone who is the subject of these accusations,” Tyson said, adding that the individual, who goes by the handle @LavaGS on X and goes by the name Lava, “has been vocal in supporting that it is false.”

Tyson appeared alongside the 26-year-old Mr. Beast. His YouTube channel The channel has been running since 2012. Since then, it has gained over 300 million subscribers, making it the most popular channel on the platform.

Last year, Tyson came out as a transgender woman and Underwent gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy — which resulted in transphobic attacks against her online.

She shares 4-year-old son Tucker with her ex-wife Katie. The former couple separated in 2022.
