MS-13 gangbanger ‘ambushes’ Colorado cops while out on bond for 3 felonies

Billy Soto was detained for three felony charges and wanted an attempted murder that occurred in a local apartment last month when local police officers fired 80 shots from a rifle, Pueblo Police Chief Chris Norler told reporters Wednesday.

Officers are currently facing a “long road to recovery,” Noller said.

Soto, 34, was shot and killed when officers returned the fire.

The police chief condemned LAX law and policies for allowing the attack to occur.

“Our officers were ambushed and shot by a malicious person who should have been in prison, but not because of crime law and bond software,” Noller said.

“Our officers have finished this rampage in the only way they can by shooting him and he's dead.”

He added: “If we refuse to hold low-level criminals accountable, they become bold, violent crimes rise, and incidents like this attack are the result.”

“I'm tired of it. I'm sure I'm going to take these risks and not resort to this type of crime and our community is going to get tired of it.”

Upon taking office, President Trump designated MS-13 as a terrorist organization and attempted to send Salvadran gang members back to El Salvador.
