Fetterman Disputes MS NOW Appearances

Senator John Fetterman recently responded to claims about his appearances on MS NOW, sharing that he felt the channel didn’t invite him anymore. His team, however, maintains that those instances were outdated.

The Pennsylvania Democrat has been at odds with the far-left faction of his party, specifically regarding his positions on Israel and socialism. In a statement to a news outlet, he requested that they note, “MSNBC will not invite me,” referring to the network’s former branding.

Fetterman, 56, mentioned that he often appears on Fox News, CNN, CBS, and ABC, stating he appreciates networks that deliver information clearly.

“I don’t really understand why,” he remarked regarding his lack of invitations from MS NOW. “I’m a committed Democrat; I don’t see their editorial issue.”

He termed it “really strange” that a network would shy away from inviting Senate Democrats who overwhelmingly support key votes.

An MS NOW spokesperson countered his assertion, calling it “inaccurate.”

In a post on social media, the MS NOW public relations team shared screenshots of Fetterman’s recent appearances on their platform, including conversations with the “Morning Joe” hosts.

A representative from Fetterman’s office clarified that these images were from previous appearances, asserting he hasn’t been on MS NOW since March.

“He never stated he was banned; he just hasn’t been receiving invites anymore. That’s correct,” the spokesperson explained. “Using old footage isn’t the grand statement MS NOW seems to think it is.”

According to analysis, Fetterman has made over 56 appearances on Fox News since the beginning of the year and has also featured on CNN 13 times.

He has openly criticized the far-left faction and even hinted at leaving the Democratic Party due to diminishing support for Israel.

At a recent summit, he confirmed he has “no plans” to exit the party—at least not for now—but warned that his stance might shift if pro-Israel support continues to decline.

“If our party becomes officially anti-Israel, I’d have to leave—that’s morally evident to me,” Fetterman stated.

He further accused some party members of attempting to attract a base that is staunchly anti-Israel.

That same day, 103 House Democrats endorsed a proposal to cut $3.3 billion in defense aid to Israel.

Fetterman took issue with Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s pro-Palestinian rhetoric, especially his ties to self-identified socialist and Twitch streamer Hassan Piker.

“Look at those we elected in the primaries; they’re not just pro-Palestinian, but extremely against Israel,” he remarked.

On his departure from the party, he explained that the situation would change drastically if anti-Israel stances became part of the official platform.

Additionally, Fetterman criticized New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani for his anti-Israel sentiments and socialist views during a recent trip to the city.

Labeling Mamdani a “clown” for suggesting the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Fetterman remarked, “It’s a tough thing to propose; he wouldn’t go through with it.”

Mamdani had referred to an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court related to the Gaza conflict and suggested that while local authorities can’t act, the federal government should.

“Clearly, America isn’t part of that corrupt court, so it’s absurd to say that. He should focus on the issues at hand in New York,” Fetterman concluded.
