MSNBC commentator Donnie Deutsch said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that the November election will be about “abortion and democracy” and that women voters will choose President Joe Biden.
“We had a conversation a few days ago about, let’s see what happens if he takes over,” Deutsch said. “If you’re the CEO of a company and your daughter tweets something negative about Trump. , which means Trump could go after your company.”
He continued, “The problem is not economic complacency; it’s about abortion and democracy. It’s a throat problem. It’s a right-brain problem. Women are going to save us. Biden on the rooftop. You think you can stand up and hire the smartest people in the world, people like me, to tell economic stories, but it doesn’t register. You have to punch people in the gut. And You have to beat up women and say your health care is being taken away from you. Your right to live as yourself is being taken away and you have to beat democracy.”
Deutsch said, “Not just the CEOs, but as I said, all the wealthy people who have enjoyed and benefited from what this country has to offer. They are the ones that make me sick.” Wait a minute, they’re probably going to blow it all up because they’re exempt from taxes or because they want to go to Mar-a-Lago or whatever it is. Shame on people like that. It’s a shame that you don’t understand what’s at stake. That you don’t care whether your children will be able to vote again. Your granddaughter will have to go to another state. That they don’t care if they lose their money or can’t get an abortion. Shame on them. It’s just about the money. And those are the people who make my skin crawl.”
