MTA bus driver stabbed in neck during dispute in Brooklyn

An MTA bus driver was stabbed in the neck while on duty in Brooklyn on Saturday, a police spokesman said.

Police said the unidentified driver, 60, was at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Alabama Avenue in East New York around 11:30 a.m. when he was attacked after getting into an argument with a man believed to be in his 20s.

It is unclear whether the suspect was a passenger on the bus. No arrests have been made.

The driver of the third shuttle bus was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made.

The attack followed two other assaults on bus drivers on Friday.

A female MTA bus driver was punched in the face in East New York on Friday, police sources said.

She was driving a B6 bus when it was hit by a passenger who reportedly was passing a bus stop at around 11.30am on Friday.

Shortly after, the driver of a B44 bus traveling at New York and Foster streets was doused with liquid after asking a passenger to fold up their stroller before boarding the bus around noon, sources said.
